light and delicous pizza dough. great for a party or for the kids to try out. adding their own toppings is fun fun fun

Recipe Ingredients for easy pizza dough

1 tablespoons dried yeast
225 ml (8 fl oz) warm water
275 g (10 oz) bread flour
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 teaspoon salt
2 teaspoons caster sugar

Recipe Directions for easy pizza dough

  1. pour the dried yeast into the warm water, stir gently and leave for ten minutes. the yeast solution should be cloudy (like grey milk)

  2. mix the flour, sugar and salt into a bowl

  3. add the yeast solution and olive oil to the flour

  4. using your fingers mix fluid into flour and form a dough

  5. knead lightly for a minute or two then cover loosely with cling film then a wet tea towel over the top

  6. place the bowl with the dough, into a warm place (airing cupboard is ideal)

  7. leave for 30 minutes to 4 hours then knead

  8. for about 5 minutes and roll into your chosen baking container. cover with your choice of pizza sauce and toppings and bake for 20-25 minutes on 180c (170 for fan assisted)
