Recipe Ingredients for Easy Pepper Steak

1 lb. beef sirloin steak, 3/4" thick, boneless
3 tbsp. cornstarch
1 can (14 oz.) Beef Broth
1 tbsp. soy sauce
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 red bell pepper, cut in strips
1 medium onion, cut into thin wedges
4 cups rice, cooked, hot

Recipe Directions for Easy Pepper Steak

  1. SLICE beef into very thin strips. Mix cornstarch, broth, soy and garlic.

  2. STIR-FRY beef in nonstick skillet until browned and juices evaporate.

  3. ADD peppers and onion. Add cornstarch mixture. Cook and stir until mixture boils and thickens. Serve over rice.

  4. TIP: To make slicing easier, freeze beef 1 hr.
