Recipe Ingredients for Easy Peasy Hot and Sour

4 cups chicken stock or broth (or 4 cups water and 4 chicken bouillon cubes)
3 tablespoons soy sauce
1/4 cup chicken or pork, cooked shredded
1/2 cup mushrooms, diced
1/2 tablespoon chili sauce, garlic
1/4 teaspoon ground white pepper
1/4 cup white vinegar
1/3 cup canned bamboo shoots, julienned
3 oz tofu, cut into 1/4 inch dice
2 tablespoons cornstarch, & 2 tablespoons cold water
1 egg, beaten
2 green onion, diced (including tops)
1/2 teaspoon sesame oil

Recipe Directions for Easy Peasy Hot and Sour

  1. heat stock to boil

  2. add ingredients through tofu

  3. when hot, scramble egg and stir in

  4. when ready to eat, add sesme oil and scallions

  5. serve hot
