This is just a basic recipe to build off of. I usually add some chicken sausage or ground turkey for some protein. The sloppy joe sauce is just so simple that it makes sense.

Recipe Ingredients for Easy Pasta Recipe

13 1/2 ounces of whole wheat rotini
15 1/2 ounces of sloppy joe sauce
15 ounces of peas

Recipe Directions for Easy Pasta Recipe

  1. Boil water and cook pasta according to directions on box but leave slightly aldente.

  2. While pasta cooks, add your protein to a skillet and lightly brwon but do not cook through completely.

  3. Drain pasta and add sloppy joe sauce, and your protein to the pasta. Cook for 5 minutes for flavors to combine.

  4. Add peas, fresh or frozen and allow to just cook through.
