Recipe Ingredients for Easy omelet

1/2 cup Egg Beaters
19 grams fat free cheddar cheese
1 tbs picante sauce

Recipe Directions for Easy omelet

  1. Pour the egg substitute into a non-stick omelet pan and cook over medium heat with the lid on until the egg is cooked through. Tear the sandwich slice of cheese (I use Kraft Singles fat free sharp cheddar) into strips and lay them on top of one half of the omelet. Fold the eggless side of the omelet on top of the cheese and then fold it again, so that you have a 1/4 wedge in the pan. Remove from heat. Put the picante on top. Replace the lid and let the cheese melt and the picante get warm before serving.

  2. Also good with 1 Tbs of plain non-fat Greek yogurt.
