Recipe Ingredients for Easy meatball and mushroom supper

1/2 cup bread crumbs
1 small onion chopped
1 egg
2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
1 3/4 tsp dried dill
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper
1 lb ground beef (93% lean)
2 tbs vegetable oil
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1/2 cup milk
2 tbs cooking sherry

Recipe Directions for Easy meatball and mushroom supper

  1. In a medium bowl, combine bread crumbs, chopped onion, egg, and Worcestershire sauce, 1 1/4 tsp dill, salt, and pepper. Stir with fork until mixed. And ground beef and mix until blended. Form mixture into 12 to 14 meatballs.

  2. Heat oil in large skillet. Add meatballs and cook over medium heat, turning often, until browned all over, about 8 minutes. Drain off any excess fat.

  3. Add mushroom soup, milk, 1/2 tsp dill, and sherry to skillet. Bring to simmer, reduce to low heat, and cover. Cook, stirring occasionally, until meatballs are cooked through, 5 - 7 minutes. Serve hot with noodles or rice.
