easy lentil soup in less than half an hour

Recipe Ingredients for Easy Lentils

0.67 cup Lentils, Mature Seeds
1 medium raw Carrots
1 cup Chicken Stock
1/4 large Onions
2 tbsp Unsalted Butter in Half Sticks
5 spears Asparagus

Recipe Directions for Easy Lentils

  1. saute veggies in butter

  2. add lentils and stock plus water until the ingredients are covered by about an inch.

  3. Simmer until lentils are tender on med/low heat. About 15 to 20 minutes. Can be served with a tbsp of sour cream or plain greek yogurt.

  4. I also added spices: fresh ground pepper, sage, papika, seasoned salt, and garlic powder.
