These easy oatmeal cookies are light, delicious and decent for you (compared to most cookies).

Recipe Ingredients for Easy (healthy-ish) oatmeal cookies

1 cup brown sugar
1 cup sugar
1/2 cup apple sauce
2 eggs
1 tsp baking powder
2 cups flour
2 tsp salt
1 tsp honey
3 cups rolled oats
1/2 cup chopped pecans

Recipe Directions for Easy (healthy-ish) oatmeal cookies

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

  2. In a mixer, combine sugar, brown sugar and apple sauce.

  3. Slowly mix in the eggs.

  4. Sift together baking powder, flour and salt.

  5. Slow mix in the flour combination.

  6. While the mixer is still going, add in the honey.

  7. Pour in the rolled oats.

  8. Add in the chopped pecans.

  9. Once dough is thoroughly mixed, use a tablespoon to scoop out 30 cookies onto two greased baking sheets.

  10. Put in the oven for 10 to 12 minutes.
