add 3/4 cup golden puffs instead of cheerios-i did this to get the correct caloric value also, can substitute any other dried fruit, might even add choc chips

Recipe Ingredients for easy granola bars

1 cup cheerios
2/3 cup quick cooking oats
1 cup shredded wheat
3/4 cup almonds
2/3 cup craisins
3/4 tablespoon ground cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon salt
3 eggs
2 tbsp honey
1 teaspoon vanilla

Recipe Directions for easy granola bars

  1. chop up almonds and shredded wheat in food processor. add oats, craisins, golden puffs.

  2. beat eggs, honey, cinnamon and vanilla

  3. combine all, press into pan, bake at 350 for 18-20 minutes
