Note: To make this recipe gluten-free, simply omit the wheat germ and replace with additional flaked coconut.

Recipe Ingredients for Easy Granola Bars

3 cups quick-cooking oats
14 ounce sweetened condensed milk
2 tbsp butter, melted
1/2 cup flaked coconut
1/2 cup toasted wheat germ
1 cup sliced almonds
1/3 cup chocolate chips
1/2 cup sweetened dried cranberries

Recipe Directions for Easy Granola Bars

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Grease a 9x13 inch pan.

  2. Mix together all ingredients and press flat into prepared pan.

  3. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes. Lightly browned around the edges will give you moist, chewy bars. Let cool for 5 minutes, cut into squares, then let cool completely before serving. To store, wrap individually.
