Recipe Ingredients for Easy Crock Pot Chili

16 oz turkey sausage
1 lb Beef, Ground, 85% Lean Meat / 15% Fat, Crumbles
2 c red beans
1 c chick peas
1 c cannelini beans
1 c kidney beans
32 oz diced tomatoes
4 oz tomato paste

Recipe Directions for Easy Crock Pot Chili

  1. brown the meat in a large pan

  2. add desired spices to taste (chili powder, garlic, onion, cayenne pepper, onion powder, salt, pepper)

  3. Once meat it cooked through, add diced tomatoes and tomato paste. Stir mixture and let simmer for about 5-7 minutes. While it is cooking, open canned beans, rince and drain in colander. Transfer meat mixture and beans to a 6 qt slow cooker and mix together. Set slow cooker on low for 6 hours or high for 3 depending on when you are want to serve the chili. Top with low fat shredded cheese, onions and sour cream for fun!
