Recipe Ingredients for Easy Crock Pot Chicken and Root Veggie Meal-in-One

630 grams Chicken
2 2/5 serving Soup, Chicken Broth, canned, ready-to-serve
693 grams Potato, Baked, Flesh And Skin
737 grams Sweetpotato
166 grams Yellow Onion
10 grams Garlic
30 grams Cilantro

Recipe Directions for Easy Crock Pot Chicken and Root Veggie Meal-in-One

  1. In a crock pot, combine:

  2. 4-6 chicken breasts (frozen or fresh)

  3. 3 red potatoes (chunks or diced)

  4. 2 sweet potatoes (chunks)

  5. 1/2 large yellow onion (diced)

  6. 3 cups chicken broth (fat free, low sodium canned or homemade--if homemade, scrape off all the fat, and don't add salt)

  7. 2 cloves garlic

  8. 1 cup chopped cilantro

  9. any other spices, like black pepper, oregano, basil, or thyme (your discretion, or whatever is in your pantry!)

  10. fill the bottom of the pot with water so that there is about an inch of liquid in the bottom (depending on the size of your pot)

  11. set on low 8 hours or high 4 hours.

  12. Spoon out, and enjoy!
