Recipe Ingredients for Easy Clam Chowder

4 oz Bacon, Real Crumbled
3 oz Onion, Yellow Diced or Chopped
3 oz Celery, Chopped
6 oz Carrots, Crumbled Matchsticks
2 cups Chicken Broth (approx 1 can)
10 oz Potato (1 large potato, diced)
4 oz Cream Cheese Spread
2 cups 2% Milk
10 oz Clams, Whole Baby

Recipe Directions for Easy Clam Chowder

  1. Cook onion, celery and carrots in pan with 2 capfuls of olive oil on medium heat for 12 to 14 minutes or until crisp-tender. Stirring occasionally.

  2. Add broth and potatoes; bring to boil and simmer 10 to 12 minutes or until tender.

  3. Add light cream cheese spread; cook, uncovered for 2 to 3 minutes or until melted, stirring frequently.

  4. Add milk, clams and bacon; stir.

  5. Bring to boil, stirring frequently. Cook 3 to 4 minutes.

  6. Add onion salt, onion powder, garlic powder and black pepper to taste.
