Recipe Ingredients for Easy Chix Gumbo

6 tablespoons Olive Oil
3 cups All purpose flour
2 Bell Pepper Red
80 g Celery
2 medium onion
2 large tomatos
4 cloves garlic
2 tsp thyme
1 1/2 tsp crushed red pepper flakes
8 cups Fat Free Chicken Broth
10 oz okra
12 oz Andouille Sausage
4 lbs Chicken
1 pound Shrimp

Recipe Directions for Easy Chix Gumbo

  1. Chop all veggies set aside, Chop Sausage and Boil and sesaon shrimp set aside. I baked 2 small rosters and deboned them and set them aside.

  2. Place Oil in large dutch oven once hot add flour stirring constanly when it is honey brown add peppers, onion, celery,Thyme and salt and pepper. Cook for about 10 mins. Then add broth and sausage and okra bring to soft boil. Add Chicken Shrimp and Gumbo File. Simmer for 30 mins. (Prepare brown rice according to package) Enjoy
