Quick low fat fettucine without the heavy cream sauce

Recipe Ingredients for Easy Cheesy Fettucine

9.25 oz Fettucine
4 fl oz Organic Low Sodium Chicken Broth
2 cloves, raw Garlic
0.13 tsp The Original Pizza Peppers Crushed Chile Flakes
0.5 tsp, ground Basil, Dried
0.75 tsp Pepper, Black
0.5 cup Parmesan, Grated Cheese
1 serving Walnut Halves

Recipe Directions for Easy Cheesy Fettucine

  1. Cook the pasta according to package directions, but do not add salt.

  2. While pasta is cooking, in a medium skillet, bring the broth to a boil over medium heat. Add the garlic and hot red pepper flakes. Cook, stirring for 2 minutes. Remove from heat.

  3. Ladle out 1 cup of the pasta cooking water; add to the broth mixture.

  4. Drain the pasta in a colander. Place pasta on a large serving platter or in a large serving bowl. Add the broth mixture, basil and black pepper; toss gently until well combined. Sprinkle with Parmesan and walnuts and serve immediately.
