I made this up as a quick, easy, nutritious alternative to frozen meals or fast food. I change up the seasonings and ingredients as my mood dicatates, with nutrition and ease being a priority.

Recipe Ingredients for Easy Beef Stew

10 oz sirloin , approx. cooked weight, 1lb raw
1/4 cup white flour
3/4 cup beef broth
1 tsp worcestershire sauce
1 pound potato
4 oz carrot
8 oz mushroom
10 oz onion

Recipe Directions for Easy Beef Stew

  1. Cube all ingredients as small or large as desired.

  2. Toss the beef cubes in the flour to coat.

  3. Add seasonings to taste. Salt, pepper, bay leaf and cayenne are suggestions.

  4. Combine all ingredients in a slow cooker and cook for approximately 4-6 hours on high, longer on low.
