Very easy to make! Yummy homemade lasagna

Recipe Ingredients for Easy Beef Lasagna

1 lb. lean ground beef
26 oz. spaghetti sauce
14 1/2 oz. diced tomatoes (Italian style)
1/4 tsp salt
15 oz. ricotta cheese - part skim
1/4 cup Parmesan cheese (reduced fat), grated
1 egg, lightly beaten
8 oz. pasta (lasagna noodles - oven ready)
1 cups mozzarella cheese (part skim), shredded

Recipe Directions for Easy Beef Lasagna

  1. preheat oven to 375 degree. Cook bee until no longer pink and drain fat. Stir in next 3 ingredients.

  2. Combine ricotta, Parmesan and egg in medium bowl and stir to mix well. Spread 2 cups of beef sauce into the bottom of a 13 X 9 baking dish. Top with 4 of the noodles, arranged lengthwise in a single layer. Place a 5th noodle crosswise at the end of the dish, breaking noodle to fit. Press the noodles slightly into the sauce. Spread all the ricotta mixture over the noodles. Sprinkle ricotta with 1 cup of mozzarella and top with 1-1/2 cups of beef sauce. Top with remaining noodles in a single layer, pressing noodles into sauce. Top the noodles with remaining beef sauce.

  3. Bake for 45 minutes, or until noodles are tender. Sprinkle with the remaining 1/2 cup mozzarella and let stand for 15 minutes for easier serving. Yum!
