Recipe Ingredients for Eastern European Pancakes

375 ml buttermilk
1 egg
45 ml white sugar
120 ml white flour
10 ml vanilla extract
10 ml cinnamon

Recipe Directions for Eastern European Pancakes

  1. Mix together all ingredients.

  2. Add 1 tbsp of cooking oil to frying pan and heat pan on medium.

  3. Drop tablespoons of mixture onto pan and fry on each side until golden.

  4. Serve with yogurt, jam, fruit, etc.

  5. Variations: add cranberries, raisins, apples, walnuts, etc...
