My mom made us this recipe growing up and it always leaves you with a warm feeling inside!

Recipe Ingredients for Easiest Chicken Pot Pie

15 ounce pie crusts
1/2 cup chicken stock
3/4 cup 1% milk
2 cups chicken, boiled and cooled
1/2 cup peas
4 tablespoons butter

Recipe Directions for Easiest Chicken Pot Pie

  1. Preheat oven to 350.

  2. Cut chicken into desired size pieces, making sure to remove any fat or bones.

  3. Spread half of the chicken on the bottom of an oven-safe casserole dish.

  4. Add half of the peas to the chicken.

  5. Add 1 teaspoon of butter, cut into pieces, to the chicken and peas.

  6. Add about a half or less of the chicken stock.

  7. Cover with one pie crust, and a little butter, and put in the oven until the crust is cooked, golden, and flaky!

  8. Remove from oven, and poke holes in the crust with a knife.

  9. Add remaining chicken, peas, and chicken stock.

  10. Add a bit of butter.

  11. Cover with remaining pie crust and poke holes in it, then pour milk over entire pie, allowing it to seep through the holes.

  12. Bake until golden, about thirty minutes.

  13. Allow to cool for 10-15 minutes, and serve!
