Green Pea Soup with dutch sausage, beatballs and pork

Recipe Ingredients for Dutch Pea Soup

16 oz Split Peas
1 packet Soup, Onion Mix, Dehydrated, Dry Form
3 medium (2-1/2" dia) Onions
16 oz Beef, Ground, 95% Lean Meat / 5% Fat, Crumbles
10 tbsp Parsley, Dried
4 oz raw Boneless Pork Shoulder Roast
3 large (7-1/4" to 8-1/2" long) Carrots
3 medium (2-1/4" to 3-1/4" dia.) Potatoes, Boiled
12 oz Sausage, Polish, Pork And Beef, Smoked

Recipe Directions for Dutch Pea Soup

  1. Simmer peas and pork hock in 4-5 L of water for 4 - 6 hrs

  2. Add Carrots, Potaoes, Onion Soup Mix, Onions, let simmer until Potatoes and Carrots are tender

  3. Mix Ground beef with some salt and pepper and roll into small balls

  4. Add meatballs and sausage and Parsley, simmer untill meatbalss are done

  5. Slice sausage and add salt and pepper to taste.
