Baked pancake with sauteed apples

Recipe Ingredients for Dutch Baby Pancakes

2 eggs
1 tsp canola oil
1/2 cup skim milk
1/2 cup all purpose flour
2 tbsp sugar
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 tsp cinnamon
1 tbsp margarine
2 large apples, peeled and sliced

Recipe Directions for Dutch Baby Pancakes

  1. Preheat oven to 425 and grease a 9 inch cake pan or skillet.

  2. Beat eggs, oil and milk with a fork until smooth.

  3. Add flour, sugar, salt, and cinnamon. Stir until a smooth batter with few lumps and pour into prepared dish.

  4. Bake 10 minutes, then reduce heat to 350 and bake an additional 5-8 minutes until lightly browned.

  5. Meanwhile, heat butter in skillet then saute apples until tender, about 10 minutes. Spoon over pancake and serve.
