Recipe Ingredients for Dumplings for Stew

2 cups flour
1 1/2 tbsp baking powder
1/4 tsp salt
2 tsp sugar
1/3 cup butter
2 cup milk

Recipe Directions for Dumplings for Stew

  1. Mix together dry ingredients.

  2. Cut in butter until well mixed.

  3. Stir in milk until thick and creamy

  4. Place in spoonfuls on top of hot stew (in a pot)

  5. Cook covered on low heat for about 20 min, until done. (No peeking)
