Recipe Ingredients for Dumplings (for Stew)

1 1/2 cup flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/4 cup margarine
3/4 cup skim milk

Recipe Directions for Dumplings (for Stew)

  1. Combine dry ingredients in a bowl. (It's nice to add some dried herbs too.)

  2. Cut in margarine or butter.

  3. Mix in milk to make a soft dough.

  4. Drop small balls of dough into stew and cook for about 15 minutes.
