Recipe Ingredients for Dumplings with salt fish and beans

0.75 cup Wheat Flour, White, All-purpose, Enriched, Bleached
1 Teaspoon Baking Powder
7 cup (8 fl oz) Water
0.25 cup, chopped Peppers, Sweet, Red
0.2 cup Onions
1/2 cup slices Carrots
3 oz Cod, Atlantic, Dried And Salted
1 cup Beans, Kidney, Red, Mature Seeds

Recipe Directions for Dumplings with salt fish and beans

  1. Mix flour with water and baking powder and let sit for 20 mins to raise.

  2. Fry the onion and pepper for 5 mins then add the water and beans and the salt fish (the salt fish needs to be boiled previously to release salt) and boil for 15-20 mins.

  3. Add the dumpling mix in and let boil for another 20 minutes.
