Dumplings Recipe

These could be used in any soup but they are the best with chicken soups or fricasse

Recipe Ingredients for Dumplings

1 1/4 c flour, all purpose
1/3 c cornmeal
2 tsp baking powder
3 tbsp butter, chilled
1 c milk, 3.25%
1 tbsp dill

Recipe Directions for Dumplings

  1. Mix dry ingredients

  2. Cut in cold butter and mix with flour until it resembles coarse crumbs

  3. Mix the milk with fork until mixture is coming together

  4. Use the spoon to scoop the mixture into a simmering liquid (could be soup) and cook until the toothpick inserted in the middle comes out clean (15 min approximately)
