This meal helps to save me from going to the Chinese Food Restaurant and subsequently buy those addictive Chinese fried wings. It's a life-saver!

Recipe Ingredients for Dt's Chicken & Broccoli

1/2 pounds Chicken Breast
1/4 pound Broccoli
1 teaspoons Soy Sauce
1/2 teaspoon Garlic Salt
1/2 teaspoon Basil
1 teaspoon Olive Oil
1/4 Onion
1/2 cups brown rice

Recipe Directions for Dt's Chicken & Broccoli

  1. Chop the chicken into square inch cubes.

  2. Soak in an airtight bowl of soy sauce, place in fridge until you are ready for it.

  3. Dice Onion

  4. Chop Broccoli (I prefer to use fresh, including the stem)

  5. Use a bit of the olive oil to grease a hot frying pan.

  6. Fry the veggies in the pan. When done to your liking, take out and put in a bowl to keep warm.

  7. Take out chicken and fry to your desired brownness (the remainder of the olive oil or a dry pan should suffice).

  8. Add veggies, stir!

  9. When it begins to smell something fierce (good smells of course) then it is done.

  10. Happily serve over brown rice and with a large glass of water.
