Deliscious nautiness, that is not naughty at all and is B+ nutritionally. Yummy with jam or honey

Recipe Ingredients for Drop scones

4 oz wholewheat flour
2 tsp baking soda
1 pinch of salt
1 medium egg
5.07 fl oz milk, skimmed

Recipe Directions for Drop scones

  1. Place the flour, salt and baking powder in a bowl together, then stir in the egg. Gradually add the milk, beating constantly untill batter is smooth.

  2. Lightly oil a heavy based frying pan and whet hot drop the batter on to it, 2 teaspoons at a time, well apart.

  3. Cook the scones over a moderate heat for 2-3 minutes, or until the surface starts to bubble. Flip them over and cook the other side for 2-3 minutes until golden brown. Keep them warm in a folded tea towel.

  4. Serve warm to hot with your favourite jams or honey.
