Easy drop biscuit recipe that works great with biscuits and gravy or homemade strawberry jam.

Recipe Ingredients for Drop Baking Powder Biscuits

1 cup Milk, Reduced Fat, Fluid, 2% Milkfat
2 cup Gold Medal All Purpose Flour
1 cup Butter
0.25 tsp Salt, Table
3 teaspoon Baking Powder

Recipe Directions for Drop Baking Powder Biscuits

  1. Preheat oven to 450. Grease baking sheet.

  2. Sift flour, baking powder and salt into medium bowl. Using pastry blender or 2 knives, cut in butter until mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Stir in milk to make soft dough.

  3. Drop by tablespoonfuls onto greased baking sheet. Bake 10 to 15 minutes or until browned.
