Same as the regular pastelitos only with substitutions.

Recipe Ingredients for Dr. Mehmet Oz's "Pastelitos" (Dietitic)

3/4 cup baking splenda
3 1/2 tablespoons margarine, melted
2/3 cup egg whites
1 cup flour
14 oz condensed milk
2 cups fat-free milk

Recipe Directions for Dr. Mehmet Oz's "Pastelitos" (Dietitic)

  1. Beat the eggs in a large bowl.

  2. Basically, you just mix all the ingredients together. This is such a simple recipe. If the mixture is lumpy, strain it to get a smooth batter.

  3. Ladle the mixture into greased mini-muffin tins. This recipe yields 18 tarts.

  4. Bake in a 400F preheated oven for 15 minutes. Reduce the temperature to 325F and bake for another 20 minutes.
