Gluten free if you use GF oats, but not a bad version of the black bean brownie.

Recipe Ingredients for Dr. Janet's Flourless Dark Chocolate Brownies

420 g Black Beans, Organic
1/2 c quick cooking oats
1/2 c splenda
1/4 c brown sugar
1/4 c Cocoa, Dry Powder, Unsweetened
1/4 c extra-virgin olive oil
1 tsp vanilla extract
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 c ground almonds

Recipe Directions for Dr. Janet's Flourless Dark Chocolate Brownies

  1. Preheat oven to 350. Spray 9 inch baking pan with nonstick cooking spray.

  2. Rinse and strain black beans the place in mixing bowl.

  3. Add the rest of the ingredients. With an electric mixer, blend the ingredients until the black beans are mashed up and the mixture is smooth, about 2 minutes.

  4. Scrape batter into the prepared pana nd bake for 30 to 35 min until the edges pull away from the sides of the pan and the middle of the brownie is firm.

  5. Let cool before slicing into 16 slices.
