Recipe Ingredients for Double Chocolate Pecan Brownies

2 oz. unsweetened chocolate
1/2 cup butter
2 eggs
1 cup sugar
3/4 cup flour
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
1 cup pecans, chopped
1 tsp. vanilla
1 cup chocolate chips

Recipe Directions for Double Chocolate Pecan Brownies

  1. Melt butter and chocolate together in double boiler.

  2. Let cool.

  3. Then add the sugar and eggs and beat until well blended (make sure your chocolate is cool enough not to cook the eggs).

  4. Combine the flour, baking powder, and salt.

  5. Stir the flour mixture into the chocolate mixture.

  6. Add the nuts and the vanilla and stir.

  7. Spread in 8" x 8" greased pan.

  8. Sprinkle the chocolate chips on top.

  9. Bake in 350 degree oven for 25 minutes.

  10. Cut into squares.
