Recipe Ingredients for Double Chocolate chip Brownies

0.5 cup Apple Sauce Unsweetened Organics
1 cup Wheat Flour, White, All-purpose, Enriched, Bleached
0.67 cup Cocoa, Dry Powder, Unsweetened
0.5 tsp Sea Salt
1 large Egg, Whole
2 large Egg, White
1.25 cup Sugars, Granulated
1 tsp Vanilla Extract
3 tbsp Semi-Sweet Mini Morsels

Recipe Directions for Double Chocolate chip Brownies

  1. Place strainer over deep bowl. Add 3/4 cup applesauce and let drain 15 minutes. You will get 1/2 cup. Discard liquid.

  2. Preheat oven to 350o. Coat a nonstick 11x7" pan with butter flavoured spray.

  3. In medium bowl combine flour, cocoa, and salt.

  4. In large bowl. beat egg and whites until frothy. Add sugar, drained applesauce, and vanilla. Stir until sugar dissolves. Add flour mixture and chocolate chips. Stir until dry ingredients are moistened.

  5. Pour batter into prepared pan and bake 30 minutes. Cool in pan on a rack. Makes 16
