Recipe Ingredients for Double Chocolate Banana muffins

1 1/2 cups whole wheat flour
1/2 cup sugar
1/4 cup baking cocoa
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon baking powder
1 1/3 cups bananas, mashed
1/4 cup applesauce
2 tbsp fat free yogurt
1 tbsp ground flax seed
3 tbsp hot water
3/4 cup miniature semisweet chocolate chips

Recipe Directions for Double Chocolate Banana muffins

  1. mix flax seed with 3 tbsp HOT water. set aside.

  2. Mix first 6 ingredients

  3. mash bananas & add yogurt, applesauce, & flax seed mixture

  4. combine dry & wet mix.

  5. Fold in chocolate chips.

  6. put batter into 12 greased tins.

  7. bake at 350 for 20 min
