Makes 32 Servings Homemade Spaghetti Sauce 32 - 1/2 Cup Servings

Recipe Ingredients for Don?s Spaghetti Sauce (Modified) Recipe

1 medium sweet onion, pureed
6 cloves of garlic, finely minced
112 oz crushed tomatoes
6 oz roasted red peppers, pureed
2 tbsp. dried basil
6 tablespoons Agave syrup
2 cups Beer

Recipe Directions for Don?s Spaghetti Sauce (Modified) Recipe

  1. Puree onion in blender or food processor.

  2. Sauté onion in large pot in olive oil for about three minutes.

  3. Add garlic and sauté 5 more minutes on medium heat.

  4. Add crushed tomatoes, pureed roasted red peppers, basil and Beer (or Wine).

  5. Bring to temperature and simmer on the stove for 30-45 minutes.

  6. You can simmer longer if you want to. The longer you simmer, the better the flavor.
