My husband's sister's husband's mother is Don's mom. Very easy and looks nice. Easy to substitute with what you have on hand.

Recipe Ingredients for Don's Mom Salad

755 head,+large Lettuce
1/4 c. chopped green onions
1/4 c. celery
8 oz water chestnuts
1 c. frozen peas
1 c. mayonnaise
0.07 c. cheese
19 grams bacon
1/8 c. sunflower seeds

Recipe Directions for Don's Mom Salad

Break lettuce and put in bottom on casserole type dish. Chop green onions and water chestnuts and layer on top of lettuce. Add peas. Spread mayo over entire dish. Sprinkle parm. cheese, bacon bits (or chopped bacon slices if you have time) and sunflower seeds over top. chill in fridge at least 20 min to get it cool. Serve up.
