Recipe Ingredients for Dolma with Grape Leaves from Olga's Healthy Choice

330 g grape leaves
580 g Beef, Ground, 95% Lean Meat / 5% Fat, Crumbles
200 g onions
100 g basmati rice
240 g tomatoes
1 tsp salt
1 tsp Herbes de Provance
1 tsp Cumin
1 tsp garam masala
2 oz Mediterranean Herb
120 g water
1 tbs fresh lemon juice
240 g of water

Recipe Directions for Dolma with Grape Leaves from Olga's Healthy Choice

  1. Salamurated grape leaves can be found easily. Please soaked in hot water a few times to get rid off from its salt and let it cool.

  2. In a bowl, mixed properly grinded onions (spring onions can be used too), chopped tomatoes and all other ingredients except lemon juice and water. Let it 10-15 minutes for infusion of the mixture.

  3. Then, on a board: Place grape leaves like a plain paper. Place 1 coffee spoonfull of stuffing mixture on the leave. Then try to roll the leave properly just like "Chinese spring rolls". And place them in a saucepan one by one. (Please cover the bottom of the sauce pan with some leaves before placing the rolled dolmas in order to ensure better cooking.)

  4. Once you complete rolling, add a glass of water and lemon juice, cover the top with a small size serving place (to ensure pressure from the top while cooking).

  5. Once it starts boiling, lower the heat and let it cook for 30-35 minutes. Let it cool for sometime then you can serve.

  6. Bonne appetite!
