Benny's explanation of how to make Dobosi.

Recipe Ingredients for DOBOSI

10 eggs, separated
15 tablespoons sugar
1 teaspoon salt
4 teaspoons oil
15 tablespoons of flour
6 eggs
18 tablespoons of sugar
4 tablespoons cocoa
1 rum to taste
3 sticks butter, softened

Recipe Directions for DOBOSI

  1. Separate the 10 egg whites in a bowl, put the sugar in the bowl and add a pinch of salt. Whip the egg whites until they are stiff, then in another bowl beat the egg yolks slightly then add the oil and mix thoroughly using the folding method. Once the egg yolks are mixed with the egg whites, sift the flour into the mixture. Now the harder part

  2. Reheat the oven 350 degrees

  3. I recommended getting parchment paper, and several 9X13in pans, measure the parchment papers to fit into the pans, and spray them too with spray. Then add enough batter to make a thin layer of batter about a centimeter thick. Bake until cooked but still a little pale. Repeat the process

  4. to make the cream

  5. Place the eggs, sugar, coco on top of a double boiler, whisk until the egg mixture becomes thick like a very thin pudding or sauce. Add the rum, and cool. Then mix it in with the butter

  6. I still am confused how grandma makes the topping
