Recipe Ingredients for Dirty Rice with Turkey

16 oz Poultry food products, ground turkey, raw
1 medium (2-1/2" dia) Onions
3 stalk, medium (7-1/2" - 8" long) Celery
2 tbsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil
1 pepper, large (3-3/4" long, 3" dia) Peppers, Sweet, Yellow
1 cup, pieces or slices Mushrooms
2 cup Diced Tomatoes
1 cup Beans, Black, Mature Seeds
1 cup Beans, Kidney, Red, Mature Seeds
3 cup Rice, Brown, Medium-grain, Cooked
12 tsp Cajun Seasoning

Recipe Directions for Dirty Rice with Turkey

  1. Cook beans and rice according to package directions; set aside.

  2. In large skillet cook onions and celery in olive oil until soft. Add cajun seasonings to taste.

  3. Add ground turkey and cook until done through. Add in yellow peppers and mushrooms and cook 2-3 more minutes.

  4. Add can of tomatoes, beans, and rice. Stir and continue cooking until all ingredients are cooked through.
