Surprisingly good. You may want to add some salt if you like.

Recipe Ingredients for Dirty Rice

1/2 kg ground meat, 90% lean
1 large onion, diced
2 medium carrot, diced
1/2 tsp oregano
1/2 tsp basil
1/4 tsp hot pepper
2 cup water

Recipe Directions for Dirty Rice

  1. Brown the onion in a little water then add carrot and heat until slightly tender.

  2. Brown the meat. Drain off any excess fat.

  3. Add the rice and spices. Heat for a minute then add the water. Cover and allow the water to come to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer until the water is absorbed by the rice.
