Recipe Ingredients for Dirty Rice

1 slice bacon
2 ounces onions
1 ounces celery
2 ounces green bell pepper
2 cloves garlic
3 ounces rice
1 cup chicken broth
1/4 tsp black pepper
1 pinch cayenne pepper

Recipe Directions for Dirty Rice

  1. Heat a skillet over medium low.

  2. Begin by cooking the onions, celery, and peppers in the oil until the onions are tender.

  3. Add the rice and cook about 1 minute. Add the chicken broth and pepper, bring to a boil, cover and reduce heat to a simmer. Cook 15 minutes.
