Dijon Chicken Recipe

Recipe Ingredients for Dijon Chicken

1 pound chicken tenders
2 tsp lemon pepper seasoning
1/2 tsp onion powder
2 tbsp margarine
3/4 cup lowfat milk
2 tsp all purpose flour
1 tbsp dijon mustard

Recipe Directions for Dijon Chicken

Mix dry seasonings. Pat both sides of chicken tenders with seasonings. Melt margarine in skillet, add chicken tenders. Cook for 8-10 minutes, turning once. Transfer to a serving platter, and keep warm. For sauce, measure pan juices; add milk to make 2/3 cup total liquid. Return to the skillet. Stir flour into the 1/4 cup milk until smooth, then add to the mixture in the skillet. Stir in mustard. Cook and stir until thickened and bubbly. Cook and stir one minute more. Spoon sauce over chicken, and serve.
