Recipe Ingredients for different crockpot pork roast

2 lbs pork sirloin roast
1 plantain
2 cup Cut Sweet Potatoes
1 lb carrots
2 c low sodium chicken broth
1 tbsp smoked paprika
1 t black pepper
1 red pepper
2 serving spicy mustard
1 tbsp lemon pepper
1 tbsp olive oil
2 garlic cloves
1/2 onion

Recipe Directions for different crockpot pork roast

Rub pork with spicy mustard then sprinkle with lemon pepper rub. Place 1 tbsp olive oil in skillet and sear roast on each side. Pour chicken broth( I use 2 Herb Ox sodium free packets and 1 1/2 c water) into pan and deglaze. Place carrots, chopped pepper, chopped garlic, diced onion, chopped plantain, and broth into the crock pot. Then place roast on top and add seasoning.(Can add salt and pepper to taste)Turn crock pot on low for 6-8 hours. Add cubed sweet potatoes on the last hour. Can also fry plantains in olive oil with a sprinkle of sugar just until brown and add to last hour of cooking also
