Makes 24 servings



Eat 6 cookies throughout the day followed by eight cups of calorie free liquid. Eat a controlled dinner of 4-6 oz of lean protein served with 2 cups of non starchy cooked or raw vegetables.

Recipe Ingredients for Diet Cookies - My version (All ingredients found)

2 1/4 c Fiber One Cereal
1 c Rolled Oats
3/4 c Instant Milk
2/3 c Wheat Germ
1/4 c Wheat Bran
1/4 c Flax Seed
1 1/2 tsp Baking Powder
1/2 tsp Salt
1 tsp Cinnamon
1 c Banana
1 tbsp Smart Balance
3 tbsp Applesauce
1/2 c Splenda for baking
1 1/3 c Egg Beaters
1 tbsp Vanilla extract
1/2 c Dark Chocolate Chips

Recipe Directions for Diet Cookies - My version (All ingredients found)

  1. Combine dry ingredients with a fork. Make a well and add wet ingredients which have been mixed in a blender. Stir together well and let rest for 5 minutes.

  2. Form into 24 golfball sized balls and flatten slightly.

  3. Bake on parchment paper lined cookie sheets for 15 minutes in a 400F preheated oven.

  4. Cool well before storing. They do freeze well.

  5. You may substitute 1/2 C Raisens & 1/2 C Walnuts for Dark Chocolate chips.
