Recipe Ingredients for Diana's Spanish rice

3 tbspn light olive oil
2 cups rice
3 cloves garlic, chopped
1/4 onion, chopped
8 ounce tomato sauce
3 1/2 cups water
1/2 tspn salt

Recipe Directions for Diana's Spanish rice

  1. In medium sized sauce pan put heat to medium, add olive oil, garlic, onions and rice.

  2. Stir until rice is lightly browned.

  3. Add tomato sauce, water and salt and mix well for about 5 minutes or until it starts boiling.

  4. Put lid on pan and simmer for 20 minutes or until rice is soft.

  5. Turn off stove and let sit for 5 minutes.

  6. Serve and enjoy!
