Recipe Ingredients for Diana's Basic bread for panfried bun

150 grams All Purpose Flour
100 grams Rogers Bread Flour "Whole Wheat Bread Flour"
75 g Rice Flour
30 g Sugars, Granulated
1 tsp Salt
150 ml Milk, Lowfat, Fluid, 1% Milkfat
50 ml water
50 gram All Purpose Flour

Recipe Directions for Diana's Basic bread for panfried bun

  1. 1. Mix all flour with salt and sugar (separate some to sprinkle into the yeast)

  2. 2. Mix 50 ml warm water (110F) with the yeast, let it bubble

  3. 3. Warm the milk and add to flour and add the yeast mixture in and knead till not sticking to the bowl much.. around 10-15 minutes.

  4. 4. put in a bowl to rest covered with tea towel or cling wrap in a warm place. (I normally put in oven that I heat up a bit or I boil water and put the glass of boiling water in the oven with the bowl of dough in so basically just so that is pretty warm so yeast will wake up..

  5. 5. in 1 hour it should double up. then divide into 16 pieces then put the filling in as you wish and made into bun. Use the extra 50 g flour to help with rolling and binding. Then by this time you can either freeze it until you want to eat it. Which is what I do so I can take out the bun as and when I want and thaw and let it rise before I panfry without oil.. This way I do not need oven to bake.. Or steamer.. I just panfry.. I love the smell of it. :)
