Traditional Asian Dish. Can be eaten with rice or on it's own.

Recipe Ingredients for Dhal

4 oz Lentils
100 grams Onions
3 tsp Oil Sunflower 100% Pure
1 tsp Turmeric, Ground
1/4 tsp Spices Ground Coriander
1 tsp Garam Masala
3 cup (8 fl oz) Water

Recipe Directions for Dhal

  1. Peel and chop onion. Heat oil in a saucepan on a medium heat and add the onion. Fry for 5 minutes until soft, but not brown.

  2. Add lentils, spices and water and bring to the boil, stirring occasionally and then reduce heat and simmer for 20-25 minutes, until the water is almost absorbed and the lentils are tender.

  3. Season with salt and pepper.
