Devilled Kidneys with Marmite/Vegemite

Recipe Ingredients for Devilled Kidneys

1 unit, cooked (yield from 1 lb raw meat) Veal, Kidneys
2 Teaspoon Worcestershire Sauce
1 Teaspoon Vegemite
1 tbsp Tomato Paste
1 tbsp Lemon Juice, Canned Or Bottled
15 grams Spicy Brown Mustard
0.5 tsp Fennel Seed
2 tbsp Pure Irish Butter

Recipe Directions for Devilled Kidneys

  1. Mix Worchestershire sauce, Marmite, tomato puree, lemon juice, French mustard and cayenne pepper in a small bowl.

  2. Dice kidney. Melt butter in frying pan. When sizzling add kidney and fennel. Saute 3-4 min. Add spicy sauce and cook 1 more min.
