Super Healthy Turkey Loaf Recipe!

Recipe Ingredients for Delicious Turkey Loaf

10 oz Ground Turkey, 93% Lean
0.5 medium Onions
0.25 cup, chopped Peppers, Sweet, Green
0.25 cup, chopped Peppers, Sweet, Red
0.17 cup, chopped Onions, Spring Or Scallions
0.5 cup Bread Crumbs, Dry, Grated, Seasoned
1 large Egg, Whole
4 oz Salsa Black Bean

Recipe Directions for Delicious Turkey Loaf

  1. Mash all ground turkey with chosen spices (I use a vegetarian chicken broth cube and some Italian seasoning + a little pepper)

  2. Add in the 1/2 cup of bread crumbs and mix together

  3. Add in the 1/2 cup salsa, chopped 1/2 onion, chopped green & red bell pepper, and very finely sliced green onions

  4. Lastely, add the egg and stir everything until the mixture is homogeneous

  5. Spray a bread pan with olive oil spray so the loaf won't stick after you cook it

  6. Cook the loaf at 350 deg F for ~30-40minutes (this depends on your oven and if the meat was previously frozen - the loaf should be barely browned on top once it's done... stick it with a fork to test!)

  7. **Note: I used previously frozen ground turkey and after I took the loaf out I drained the bread pan because some water had collected at the bottom of the pan. The turkey loaf was super moist and delicious though!
