Tuna pasta is delicious and fast to prepare...can be tubbed and frozen Tuna can be replaced with ground beef or chicken for those who don't eat fish and still taste delicious. I sometimes replace the tuna with other fish, muscles, prawns octopus and it works well too...

Recipe Ingredients for Delicious Quick Tuna Pasta Dish

1 large Onions
1 stalk, large (11"-12" long) Celery
2 clove Garlic
1 can Tuna, Light, Canned In Water
100 grams Penne Dry
2 oz Extra Virgin Olive Oil

Recipe Directions for Delicious Quick Tuna Pasta Dish

  1. 1. Dice onion and celery. mince garlic

  2. 2.Add to a saucepan with 2tbsp of olive oil... And add a tsp of dried Italian herbs. (Basil, Oregano, tyme mix)

  3. 3.Sauté until they look golden and soft.

  4. 3.1. (now is a good time to put on your pasta to boil)

  5. 4.Drain the tuna and add the tuna to the saucepan...mix it into the veggies.

  6. 5. Add the Tomatoes and leave to simmer on a low heat setting until the sauce has thickened slightly and the pasta is cooked(better if the pasta is a little Al dente).

  7. 6. Drain the pasta... then add the sauce to it.

  8. 7. Add the rest of the oil to the mixture and stir well. Cover the pan and leave on the lowest heat setting for a few mins. season to your taste and that's it.....:-D

  9. Cheese can be lightly sprinkled on top if one wishes.....enjoy
