Recipe Ingredients for delicious apple crumble

770 g Apples
1 tbs cinnamon
150 g unsalted butter
1 cup packed brown sugar
1 cup flour
1 cup rolled oats
1 cup shredded coconut
1 tsp salt

Recipe Directions for delicious apple crumble

  1. Preheat oven to 180.

  2. For speediness, use canned sliced apples. Otherwise, peel & slice 6 medium apples. In a Corning Ware-type baking dish mix the apples with the cinnamon and create a flat layer.

  3. While melting the butter, mix together brown sugar, flour, oats, coconut and salt with a spoon. Add in melted butter and mix everything together. Topping should hold together if squeezed in the hand - if not, add a bit more butter.

  4. Spread the topping on the apples and put in the oven for 60 minutes. Do not put a cover over it, as it crisps better without it.
